About Us

Duck’s Cottage was originally built in 1815 as the stable block adjacent to Charlton Manor and having become rather dilapidated, the building was fully restored and converted into holiday accommodation in 2015.

The farm covers approximately 250 acres including arable and grassland and we have sheep and free range organically fed hens producing eggs. We also grow thatching straw which is much in demand, when you visit you will note the abundance of thatched properties in the Pewsey Vale.
The Fowle family have lived at Charlton Manor for at least five generations and the present owners are Tim and Alma, with their children Cassandra and Luke.

There is a 5 pitch Certificated Location (CL) site on the farm run under the auspices of the Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC).

All pitches have electric hook up.

Bookings, for members only, can be made by emailing almafowle@aol.com or phoning 07503 998979 or
01980 630791.

The farm has free range hens producing fresh eggs which are sold to local cafes, restaurants and pubs, and retail through local shops. You will find some in your welcome pack when you arrive at Duck's Cottage, if you wish to purchase more please don't hesitate to ask.
